Yuki Deguchi is renowned for his highly original works, which blend traditional Japanese painting materials with acrylic paints and spray paint, supported by his extensive knowledge of art history. His work has received high acclaim internationally. This year, he was awarded both the Grand Prize and the Audience Award at the AFAF AWARD 2025, further expanding his prominence.
This exhibition marks Deguchi’s first solo show at Daimaru Shinsaibashi, where works from his new “On the Moon” series, along with the pieces exhibited at the AFAF AWARD 2025, will be on view.
